In comments submitted to EPA in May 2013, OAPTF stated that EPA has enough information on MSMA residues in cottonseed and cotton byproducts to support the current tolerances. OAPTF also stated that there is no need for EPA to prepare an assessment of aggregate exposure to inorganic arsenic because of MSMA on cotton is not expected to cause an increase in inorganic arsenic in food.
